TXSNOWPOLICIES

TXSNOW POLICIES

Punctuality, lateness & child pick-up policy

For students & parents

STUDENT LATENESS

The session still ends on time.

Time lost through late arrival counts toward the booked session time.

DELAY CAUSED BY TXSNOW OR AN INSTRUCTOR

Make-up time at 2× the delay.

Provided that day where possible, or recorded for a later date.

To support safe, high-quality sessions, students and parents must follow the requirements below.

01

Please arrive on time

Arrive at the designated meeting point on time and ready for your session. Have your lift ticket and equipment ready, and complete all personal preparations beforehand.

Sessions follow the booked schedule. A student's late arrival does not extend the session's end time; time lost through lateness counts toward the booked session time.

02

Arrange tickets & rentals beforehand

Lift tickets and equipment must be ready before the session begins.

Delays caused by ticket purchases, equipment rentals, parking, queues or other personal preparations do not extend the session's end time.

RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL

1–1.5hours early on weekdays

Allow more time on weekends, holidays and during busy periods. Plan around actual conditions at the resort on the day.

03

Delays caused by TXSNOW or an instructor

If a session starts late for reasons attributable to TXSNOW or the instructor, TXSNOW will provide make-up time equal to twice the length of the delay. For example, if the instructor is 10 minutes late, 20 minutes of make-up time will be provided.

Make-up time will normally be provided on the same day. If the student's availability, resort operating hours, the instructor's subsequent sessions or other practical circumstances prevent this, the make-up time will be recorded and provided on a later date.

If the instructor's lateness equals or exceeds the entire booked session duration, or the instructor fails to deliver the session throughout the original booked time slot, the no-show provisions of the TXSNOW Session Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy apply.

EXAMPLE 01 · SAME-DAY MAKE-UP TIME

A 10-minute delay. A 20-minute extension.

The session is booked for 09:00–11:00. The instructor meets the student and starts at 09:10. The 10-minute delay entitles the student to 20 minutes of make-up time, so the session should finish at 11:20 that day.

  1. 09:00–11:00Booked session
  2. 09:10Actual start
  3. 11:20Finish with make-up time

EXAMPLE 02 · MAKE-UP TIME ON A LATER DATE

The time is recorded for later.

The session is booked for 09:00–11:00 and the instructor arrives at 09:10, but has another session after 11:00. This session ends at the scheduled time of 11:00. TXSNOW Support records the 20 minutes of make-up time to be provided to the student later.
